Assistant Professor at University of Dayton School of Law. Interested in the intersection of tort law and First Amendment doctrine, the tension between free speech values, privacy, insurance, criminal procedure, legal writing, moral philosophy, media and free speech markets, indie films.
Although I will present my ultimate views and conclusions, I’d like to represent all sides of an issue/argument/case fairly so people can evaluate the positions for themselves. I am a moderate and a free-speech enthusiast, but believe in intellectual honesty above all else. I want this blog to be as nonpartisan, objective, and transparent as possible. Feel free to comment on posts, but I will delete comments that are offensive in a way that is unproductive.
